For more than 107 years the New Jersey Bankers Association, or NJBankers, has been an advocate for the New Jersey banking industry. Founded in a passion for representing the interests of the state’s banking community, the NJBankers mission remains as strong today as ever, even as the requirements for fulfilling its commitment have grown. Today our membership consists of 120 banking institutions of all banking charters that are headquartered or have branches in New Jersey. In addition, more than 230 firms that provide goods and services to the banking community are associate members. The association is governed by a 19-member board of directors and, with its subsidiary and affiliated companies, staffed by 22 employees.

The Center for Financial Training is dedicated to providing professionally administered education and training that continually meets the educational needs of the financial services industry throughout our geographic market. Since 1901, CFT has served the educational needs of the financial services industry and currently enrolls more than 10,000 financial institution employees in a variety of education and training programs each year. The company employs eleven full and part-time employees dedicated to the careers of banking professionals and operates offices in Connecticut, Massachusetts, Missouri, New Jersey and New York.

The New Jersey Chamber of Commerce is a business advocacy organization based in Trenton. Created in 1911, the State Chamber staff represents its members on a wide range of business and education issues at the State House and in Washington. The organization also links the state’s local and regional chambers on issues of importance through its grassroots legislative network.

The Penn-Jer-Del Bank Marketing Association has been in existence for more than 27 years. The membership is made up of marketing professionals dedicated to contributing something of value to their chosen profession. The goal of the Penn-Jer-Del Bank Marketing Association is to provide a means for the exchange of ideas, information and professional development in all disciplines of financial marketing. These meetings are supplemented by seminars and other educational programs designed to bring a more in-depth understanding of the financial marketing discipline.

The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) was created in 1953 as an independent agency of the federal government to aid, counsel, assist and protect the interests of small business concerns, to preserve free competitive enterprise and to maintain and strengthen the overall economy of our nation.
